Mud by María Irene Fornés

I directed Mud for my 5th project in my University’s semiannual director’s festival. Setting it in Odd, West Virginia (the home of the infamous Whittaker family) we explored the way people build support systems when their access to necessities is limited, and how people find family when blood doesn’t bind them to anyone.
