Family by Numbers by Arianna Rose

I directed Family by Numbers for my 4th project in my University’s semiannual director’s festival. I was attracted to the contrast of the text’s hyper-theatricality and its painfully practical theme. I was excited by the formal challenges the text presented, which led us to frame the narrative of grief around the nostalgia of old family photographs.
